The seminar on Tasks and Responsibilities of Forwarders, Agencies and Shipping Lines is a practical course for professionals in the field of above mentioned transport activities. Special attention is paid to important issues of customs administration, VAT and warehousing regulations, licence and legal position of forwarders and freight operators (AFFA, CEB, CLECAT, FIATA), incoterms, financing, insurance and responsibility policies. The regulations of the European Union are touched upon in detail.
Forwarders, operators and shipping agencies are visited in the ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge.
