The seminar on Ro-Ro Terminal Management covers all theoretical and practical management aspects of a state of the art Ro-Ro Terminal. Private Ro-Ro port operators and the port authorities give their input on issues such as Ro-Ro terminal configuration, operational concepts, intermodal systems, related port labour organisation and training, legal responsibilities of all parties, security, safety and value added logistics.
Visits are paid to Ro-Ro the terminals in the port of Antwerp (3rd Ro-Ro port in Europe), Zeebrugge (1st Ro-Ro port in Europe) and Ghent, as well as visits to car assembly companies.
